The Time has Come...

[A must-read article of the soon-to-be pillars of PSALM-ATENEO)
by:Christer Luchavez

When Pharaoh asked Joseph to interpret his dream, Joseph interpreted it just as what God had revealed unto him. There will be 7 plentious years where God will pour out the blessings from heaven so that the storehouses can not anymore accomodate the harvests thereon. And there will also be 7 years of great famine that might smite all the harvests in the land, never before the land have experienced it.

Thus, they commanded to gather together the harvests and store whatever they can to prepare for that great famine to come.

"In todays' era, the Christendom has been plagued and threatened by extrimists, atheists and Islam.
They joined forces to end Christianity and the teachings and bring it into the brink of closure. What a tragedy will it be if they will succeed putting down the Christians all over the world!" True followers of Islam know what is good or bad, they surely will not support the people who have used their faith to bring chaos.

Yes, you have heard it right! Even in the United States, an association dubbed as "Association for the Advancement of Atheism" joined this campaign to eradicate our faith to the risen Savior.

THE TIME HAS COME TO STAND FOR WHAT WE BELIEVED IN!

I reckoned the time when my Father told me, "You have just travelled a few miles, you still have more miles to travel", "get up and walk straightly and never surrender despite of persecutions along our Christian life".

My Father is my teacher, discipler and bestfriend. He raised me up in a way that is pleasing before the eyes of the Almighty. At those times I was involved in various ministries while in school yet my parents never hinder me to continue serving the Lord and just focus academically.

Student leaders of PSALM-ATENEO, I would like to quote my father's statement and address to you that.,"YOU HAVE JUST TRAVELLED A FEW MILES, YOU STILL HAVE MORE MILES TO TRAVEL".

I commend you efforts being the manifestation of your commitment in this ministry. Without you, I firmly believed that we can not bring changes in ateneo just as what happened today.

But on top of everything, you must be sensitive enough that the time is about to come. You will be left behind in carrying the responsibility that God has given me and other departing leaders.
I knew what it feels being burdened by the thought that God called you to continue the race that He has started.

Solomon had it right when he said, "Serving the Lord is weariness of the flesh but the dividends are most rewarding". Yes, we may experience coldness in the ministry and even weariness due to many factors but I want you to carry the thought that God will order everything for you. He will bless you beyond everyone's reach that they will stand in awe seeing the goodness of the Lord in your lives.

Leaders, I am a living testimony of God's greatness and goodness in my life, in my family, endeavors and loved ones. You need not to doubt God's power working in your lives.

The time is about to come, be sensitive to answer God's call.

This ministry will be blessed by God forever.

Today, I would like to pass on to you the beacon! Keep the beacon shining!

PSALM-ATENEO will magnify, glorify and continue to bring honor to the King of kings and the Lord of lords unto eternity.

May God bless you!
